## Detailed walkthrough ### [00:04](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io3T1NCLGZA&t=4s) Moving Past the Uncanny Valley with Dynamic AI Video

Alex Mashrabov introduces Higgsfield.ai by emphasizing that every piece of visual media showcased across his presentation deck is 100% AI-generated. While audiences historically viewed generative video as merely suitable for basic B-roll or isolated snippets, the underlying technology has evolved into an expressive, fast, and cinematic visual language. The industry has progressed past the initial adoption hurdle and navigated beyond the "uncanny valley," reaching a point where AI-generated digital artists exhibit human-grade emotional expression and versatility.

To demonstrate this leap, an embedded demo introduces the Higgsfield avatar. Rather than remaining locked in place like traditional static talking-head avatars, the dynamic avatar can handle diverse, high-energy actions across any setting or format:

- Demonstrating and selling consumer products in real time - Reacting dynamically with stylized visual effects - Performing unconventional comedic actions, such as "flying and talking" or roleplaying as a dog offering controversial opinions - Vlogging like an authentic social media influencer and applying makeup directly on camera

[02:07](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io3T1NCLGZA&t=127s) Attention Economics and the Higgsfield Toolset

Drawing from his past experience serving as Head of Generative AI at Snapchat, Mashrabov highlights the dramatic shift into modern attention economics. Staying culturally relevant on mobile feeds has become an uphill battle as new trends appear and vanish daily. While traditional high-end production budgets prevented smaller businesses or creators from executing elaborate commercial shoots—such as flying to Italy to film a luxury bottled water campaign—generative AI levels the playing field, making premium production accessible directly from a laptop.

Mashrabov cautions that chasing virality alone is akin to "playing a lottery." Drawing from his time engineering viral face filters that turned users into anime and cartoon characters at Snapchat, he realized sustainable social media success requires sustained brand momentum rather than one-off viral hits. Generating that momentum demands rapid creative workflows and continuous content iteration.

- **Higgsfield Soul:** Generates photorealistic base scenes utilizing customizable visual presets. - **Higgsfield Canvas:** Seamlessly integrates specific brand products directly into the generated environments. - **UGC Builder:** Enables creators to direct actions, dialogue, vocal tone, emotional intensity, and ambient background audio.

[05:56](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io3T1NCLGZA&t=356s) Enterprise-Grade Iteration and End-to-End Consistency

Historically, high-velocity experimentation was limited to major production studios or elite creators like MrBeast, who could afford fleets of graphic designers to endlessly A/B test video thumbnails and visual elements. Higgsfield democratizes these capabilities by enabling creators to change outfits, swap backgrounds, and alter scenes instantly while keeping the underlying subject intact, allowing for rapid performance optimization to maximize engagement and conversion rates.

Mashrabov underscores that an effective AI production suite cannot merely generate isolated clips; it must support the entire creative lifecycle from start to finish. Higgsfield addresses the pipeline holistically by connecting the initial script, the visual storyboard, video generation, and final social distribution, all while preserving strict actor and product consistency across every camera angle and environment.

[07:54](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io3T1NCLGZA&t=474s) AI as a New Medium and the Rise of Margin-Driven Culture

Reflecting on public debates—such as the controversy surrounding *Vogue* featuring an AI-generated image on its cover—Mashrabov rejects the notion that AI merely serves to replace human artists or produce hollow fakes. He draws a historical parallel to the emergence of photography, digital imaging, and the iPhone, arguing that AI is a new creative medium defined by deep semantic understanding and the capacity to execute precise cinematic intent.

Furthermore, cultural distribution has decentralized. Macro trends are no longer dictated exclusively by legacy institutions, New York or Paris Fashion Weeks, or major metropolitan hubs like London and Los Angeles. Instead, hundreds of micro-trends unite millions of people online, emerging organically "from the margins." Higgsfield provides the tooling necessary for global creators to turn nascent ideas into high-quality video instantly, riding and creating trends regardless of their physical location.

- **Historical Model Scaling:** In 2016, generative models were limited to generating primitive 64x64 pixel images; today, state-of-the-art models release weekly. - **Industry Velocity:** The generative AI ecosystem has achieved more meaningful progress in the past six months than in the preceding nine years combined.

[11:56](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io3T1NCLGZA&t=716s) Organic Reach and Democratizing Content Creation

Referencing third-party social media analytics from Brand24, Mashrabov shares that Higgsfield has generated greater social reach than competing platforms despite operating on a marketing budget roughly 100 times smaller. This viral traction stems from empowering creators to stay culturally relevant and convert abstract ideas into audience attention and brand equity.

Mashrabov concludes by emphasizing Higgsfield's mission not to act as gatekeepers, but rather to make high-fidelity AI tools accessible to every creator. The overarching objective is to dramatically shorten the latency between imagination, ideation, and the final video output, allowing anyone to translate their creative vision into compelling visual media.

Reading summary

Alex Mashrabov, founder of Higgsfield.ai and former Head of Generative AI at Snapchat, argues that generative video has evolved beyond uncanny novelties into an expressive production medium. He contends that high-velocity iteration—not isolated viral hits—is essential for capturing attention as cultural production decentralizes away from legacy institutions. Overcoming the Uncanny Valley with Dynamic Avatars (0:04) Generative video has advanced past static talking-head avatars and basic B-roll clips into dynamic, expressive media capable of conveying human-grade emotion. Mashrabov notes that model capabilities advanced from primitive 64x64 pixel generations in 2016 to weekly state-of-the-art releases, asserting that the ecosystem achieved more progress in the past six months than in the preceding nine years combined. Demonstrating this shift away from the 'uncanny valley,' Higgsfield's platform showcases dynamic digital avatars performing complex, high-energy actions across diverse environments. These include applying makeup live on camera, demonstrating consumer products in real time, executing comedic scripts, and reacting with stylized visual effects, rather than remaining fixed in a single posture. Sustained Brand Momentum Through Rapid Iteration (2:07) Drawing on his experience developing viral face filters at Snapchat, Mashrabov cautions that chasing virality alone is akin to playing a lottery. Sustainable performance in mobile feeds requires building continuous brand momentum through rapid experimentation rather than relying on one-off viral successes. While high-volume creative testing was historically limited to major production houses or elite creators like MrBeast who employ dedicated design teams, generative AI democratizes the process. Creators can instantly swap backgrounds, outfits, and scenes directly from a laptop to optimize engagement metrics without funding expensive on-location shoots. Full-Lifecycle Architecture and Asset Consistency (5:56) Mashrabov emphasizes that an enterprise-grade AI video platform cannot function as a disconnected clip generator; it must support the entire production workflow from initial concept to distribution. The pipeline must maintain absolute actor and product invariance across changing camera angles and environments. Higgsfield operationalizes this through a modular system: Higgsfield Soul generates photorealistic base scenes, Higgsfield Canvas integrates physical brand products, and the UGC Builder allows creators to direct dialogue, vocal delivery, emotional intensity, and audio effects before running multi-variant consistency checks for publishing. Decentralized Culture and Creative Democratization (7:54) Comparing generative AI to the advent of photography, digital imaging, and the iPhone, Mashrabov rejects the premise that AI simply produces hollow imitations. He frames it as a new medium capable of executing precise cinematic intent, aligning with a broader decentralization of media where cultural trends increasingly originate online 'from the margins' rather than traditional capitals like New York, Paris, or London. Citing social analytics from Brand24, Mashrabov reports that Higgsfield achieved greater social reach than competitors despite operating on a marketing budget roughly 100 times smaller. He attributes this traction to lowering the latency between creative ideation and finished video output for global creators. Mashrabov frames Higgsfield's core objective as eliminating production gatekeepers by minimizing the time between imagination and finished video, though the long-term sustainability of the model relies on whether automated, high-velocity output can consistently yield meaningful audience engagement.

— Alex Mashrabov ## Mentioned Alex Mashrabov, Higgsfield.ai, Snapchat, Higgsfield Soul, Higgsfield Canvas, UGC Builder, VO3, MrBeast, Vogue, Brand24, iPhone ## Video description Alex Mashrabov, CEO, Higgsfield.ai Abstracts The Creative Process Becomes the Distribution Strategy: Why are the most successful video ads now being created by the same AI models that optimize them? [0:04] Hi everyone. I'm excited to be here. I'm [0:07] Alex, founder of Hixel.AI. [0:11] I am excited to tell you about what is [0:14] next for AI video. And today you are [0:17] going to see a lot of videos and visual [0:20] materials in the deck. All of that is [0:23] 100% AI generated. [0:28] What you're going to see [0:31] is fully AI generated video. We are used [0:35] to think about AI generated videos as [0:38] just a B-roll, some small parts of a [0:42] video. Now the quality of the technology [0:47] got to the point where it represents new [0:50] visual language [0:52] which can be expressive, fast and [0:55] cinematic. We are past the moments. We [0:59] are past the moments of adoption. I [1:01] think now pretty much everyone can [1:04] creates a compelling video with [1:06] Hicksfield AI and we are past Sanhani [1:10] Valley. Those AI generated [1:14] artists are as expressive as humans. Let [1:18] me show you the video. [1:20] >> Hi, I'm a Higsfield avatar. Today, the [1:22] internet is full of avatars that can sit [1:24] still in frame and talk. But we decided [1:27] to go further. [1:28] >> Now your avatar can do anything, [1:30] >> anywhere, [1:31] >> anytime. [1:32] >> Educating, [1:33] >> selling your product, [1:34] >> reacting, [1:35] >> speak with Higsfield visual effects. [1:38] >> You can even fly and talk. Being a dog [1:40] with controversial opinion on things, [1:43] >> selling more of your product again, [1:45] >> doing my makeup on camera, [1:46] >> vlogging like a real influencer. [1:49] >> You know, stuff like this used to feel [1:51] like a distant dream. Now it's just how [1:54] things are. Higsfield makes it real. [1:57] [Music] [2:07] So when we think about Hicksfield versus [2:09] many other platforms, I do believe that [2:13] we take a radically different approach [2:17] of the goal we try to achieve. [2:22] As I was head of generative AI for [2:25] Snapchat for the social mobile app, we [2:29] all have seen that we all have seen that [2:32] transformation [2:33] to the attention economy. [2:36] Now it becomes extremely difficult to [2:39] stay relevant on social media when [2:41] trends new trends appear every day. [2:46] And Hicksfield helps creators throughout [2:49] the world to stay relevant and capture [2:53] capture attention on social media. [2:56] >> Nowadays, it's easy to sell something, [3:00] easy to tell something, [3:02] >> easy to share your important opinion [3:06] >> and sell again and sell again [3:09] >> or tell everyone about your business. [3:11] The whole world can hear it. It's worth [3:13] saying you can do it yourself. [3:16] >> Open Hicksfield Soul to create a [3:18] photorealistic scene choosing one of the [3:20] presets. Then integrate your product [3:23] using Higsfield Canvas. [3:26] The last step is our UGC builder powered [3:29] by VO3. Type in desired actions and [3:32] phrases. Choose voice type and emotion [3:35] and add some background sounds. [3:37] >> I told you it's easy. [3:46] Up to that moment, [3:48] the creativity and self-expression on [3:51] social media, which is which is [3:54] important for creators, but also for [3:56] brands [3:58] was very limited with high traditional [4:02] production budgets. [4:05] Very often it was difficult to get a [4:08] high quality video. It was difficult to [4:11] go and make a shooting for your let's [4:14] say water brands in Italy. Now it's all [4:19] becomes possible with generative AI [4:23] which levels out the playing the playing [4:26] fields [4:32] and and and [4:34] one of the key learnings for me and and [4:38] in Snapchat what I what I part of what I [4:41] and my team built was all these face [4:44] filters transforming people to anime and [4:46] cartoon characters. So it helped to go [4:49] viral. [4:51] But what I learned is that like going [4:53] viral is basically a lottery. What [4:56] matters is [4:59] to build the momentum around your brands [5:03] on social media. And this requires [5:07] powerful tools and workflows. And at [5:10] Hicksfield, we are committed to [5:11] delivering those workflows to creators. [5:17] So the velocity of condom production and [5:22] cultural relevancy is something which we [5:25] eagerly pursue at Hicksfield. [5:28] You can change everything staying the [5:31] same. [5:34] [Music] [5:43] [Music] [5:54] [Music] [5:56] So all of that experimentation now comes [6:01] available out of the box with [6:02] Hicksfield. Up to that point only the [6:05] top creators like Mr. beast had this [6:09] functional had this ability because up [6:12] to only the up to that point only [6:14] production studios had the capability to [6:17] hire let's say tens of graphic designers [6:20] to AB test the YouTube thumbnail to get [6:23] higher conversion rates as you can see [6:26] now it's possible just to just to change [6:29] let's say the outfit or the backgrounds [6:31] in the video um easily and optimize for [6:35] higher engagement and conversion trades [6:40] and um [6:43] I think what is what was always [6:47] important is to support [6:51] all parts of the creative process with [6:53] generative AI. [6:56] So it starts from scripts then it goes [6:59] to the storyboard from storyboard to [7:01] video and then the posting. At [7:04] Hicksfield, we cover the whole workflow [7:07] end to end. Um, and um, I think it is it [7:13] is also important that we pay a lot of [7:16] attention to [7:18] AI actor consistency, but also for [7:22] product product consistency as well. [7:26] >> Oh wow. Really? [7:38] [Music] [7:54] I think there was a very controversial [7:56] points of AI adoption where Vogue post [8:00] where Vogue posted AI generate AI [8:03] generated image on a cover and I think [8:06] that's and I want to talk in depth about [8:08] that because um very often AI is being [8:12] perceived [8:13] as a tool um to replace artists [8:18] and people say that um this is not an [8:23] art. Um those AI generated images are [8:26] fake. [8:28] Uh [8:29] although I think the same way as [8:33] photography changed the worlds and then [8:35] digital photography changed the world [8:37] and essentially iPhone just change the [8:40] way how the Canada is created across the [8:43] world. In the same way Hicksfield and [8:46] visual generative AI change how Canada [8:49] is being created. And um what is [8:53] important is that with those those AI [8:57] systems got so profoundly good in [8:59] content generation. So they can they [9:02] have a very deep semantic understanding [9:05] and they can deliver cinematic intent [9:08] which was not simply possible before. [9:14] One of the one of other key takeaways [9:17] over the last maybe five years is that [9:20] trends and culture is no longer defined [9:24] by vogues of these worlds. Is not is no [9:27] longer defined on Paris fashion week or [9:30] New York fashion week. It's not longer [9:31] defined in major cities like London, New [9:34] York, LA or Paris. We are seeing tens or [9:39] or hundreds of micro trends uniting [9:42] millions of people on social media [9:45] appearing and and dying every day. And [9:49] those trends come from very like from [9:53] from everywhere across the world. it it [9:56] rises from the margins and um it is all [9:59] essentially [10:01] about um it's all essentially making [10:05] content which makes everyone else to [10:07] gravitate towards that and Hicksfield is [10:10] one of the most popular platforms today [10:14] to help creators to expand geography of [10:17] their influence. Um [10:20] we we help people to transform to create [10:24] new trends to transform their ideas into [10:27] videos. [10:31] And [10:33] the pace of generous AI adoption is [10:36] surprisingly high. We achieved way more [10:38] over the last six months than we did in [10:42] as an industry over last nine years. And [10:45] I'm I'm a serial entrepreneur in that [10:47] space. I sold my previous startup to [10:49] Snapchat and um we really started from [10:52] the time and place where these systems [10:55] could only make an image 64 pixels x 64 [10:59] pixels. That's where we were at n in [11:01] 2016. Today we see new models, new AI [11:05] trends coming out every new week. It's [11:09] really hard for most of the people to [11:11] catch up with all the rates of the [11:12] innovation. With Hicksfield, we deliver [11:15] new feature and new formats every week. [11:19] >> Look, [11:20] I can [11:24] [Music] [11:56] For for the sake of time, I I I'm [11:58] probably going to I I skipped one slide. [12:00] I think just in numbers, Hicksville [12:03] today has more reach on social media [12:05] than any other platform. Uh this is the [12:08] data from third party platform um Brand [12:11] 24. Um and this is um and a and uh with [12:16] very limited marketing budgets like 100 [12:20] times less than what our competitors do [12:22] we were able to get this reach simply [12:24] because we make we help creators and [12:28] brands to stay culturally relevant on [12:30] social media. So we help to transform [12:34] the ideas the narrative to attention so [12:38] that they so that the creators can build [12:40] capital on social media they can [12:44] accumulate the power and resonates with [12:47] broader audience [12:50] and I think we all and I think what's we [12:53] are saying here is that we are we are [12:56] making this new type of culture [13:00] gen artificial generated culture [13:03] available to everyone. We are not a [13:05] gatekeepers. We help to make those techn [13:08] We help to make those technologies [13:10] accessible to a broad set of creators. [13:14] And the goal is to eventually [13:18] shorten the gap between the imagination [13:21] and ideation and the content creation [13:23] itself. [13:27] Thank you so much. Um, it was a great [13:29] honor for me to to share the Hicksfield [13:32] updates to you. Um, if you have any [13:34] questions or if your business is [13:36] interested in trying Generative AI [13:38] tools, please reach me out. Thank you so [13:40] much.
